Very Poor Management, nice place otherwise.

I, like many others that have reviewed here, have issues with the management being rude, unresponsive, and generally a poor attitude. I have very little interaction with the management and try my best to put a professional attitude forward when I do, but they just don't care about their residents. It's a shame really becacuse the place is nice, fairly quiet as apartments go, it's in a half decent location, and it has mature landscaping which is very nice. When I first moved in, the place was filthy. There were still food crumbs in the cabinets, stains in the carpet (including paint), the stove was dirty, every verticle surface had a very thick layer of grease on it, like a poorly maintained restaraunt (should have been a warning sign). I have lived in many other apartments and when my lease is up in July, I will be either buying or moving to an apartment that is run by a corporation. This smaller propery management system just does not have the professionalism that I feel makes some apartments great to live in. My favorite place, and probably the place I will return to is Carmel Properties, Dove Valley. Rent is a bit higher, but the added professionallism of the staff and the genuine concern for their residents is well worth it.
