Look, if you're gonna live in an apartment building, you're gonna have neighbors. Denver is turning into a real city, just face the fact that you're going to get the good with the bad as that happens. So many people move close to downtown and don't expect to have problems with parking, neighbors, crime... those problems will always be present in a city, but what you also get is a fairly urbane experience. The Belmont Buckingham is a beautiful set of apartments and the rents are very reasonable. Yes, low rents might attract younger people. Sometimes people were truly inconsiderate; yelling up to apartment windows in the middle of the night for entry was especially a problem, and considering there is a fairly sophisticated intercom system I never understood how stupid you'd have to be to think that's the best way to get inside. But overall they're beautiful apartments that are affordable and in a great neighborhood. I've lived in a lot of other places and am considering returning to the BB. Unless people are outside shouting, you really don't hear your neighbors at all. Just close your windows!
