I've lived here for a wonderful 5 months. Currently, I am finishing up a six month lease that is to expire at the end of the month. I would have been getting ready to renew my lease just about now for another six months. I had been convinced and persuaded by management to sign up for a six month lease instead of a year lease because it was 'a better deal for me' and they also said that 'rent would hardly go up.' I came home the other night to find a 'Notice to Quit' on my door. It said I must be out of this current apartment in 30 days so they can rennovate this apartment and add new tile and hardwood floors. (Pity because everything is perfect the way it is and it has a wonderful vintage look to it) They have offered the chance for us to move into another apartment, an already rennovated one, in the complex. The only problem is that they increased rent 10 fold. I can no longer afford to stay here. I need to be cleaned out, moved out, and moved in to another place in one month. I am a wonderful tenant who pays rent on time, yet I feel as if I'm being evicted from this wonderful place-my home. And that is exactly what is happening. People like me are being weeded out of this place so that the rich can come in to enjoy the soon to be built fitness center, an internet cafe, and a movie theater. Too bad I can't be here to enjoy these myself. Oh yeah, management is very rude, NEVER in the office, and they are liars. Good luck!

The exact thing happened to me! I hate the managment soooo much! It is a shame because even though I am young I do have a good job and can afford a nice apartment. They have treated me and all other tenants horribly and I truly I hope I get to see Baron Properties (the managment of this complex) go out of business. If anyone would like to complain directly to them their number is 303-290-9007. You probably won't get anywhere but at least you can make your voice heard!
