Gang signs abundant around this complex; gang members hang out in courtyard in the daytime some days; young kids throw rocks at building and run abanoned shopping carts into building and pull up the covers on the drains outside; sidewalks uneven and covered in rocks from the kids here (who also climb the trees and break off the limbs); the kids playground seems nice, but is geared for very young children only); apartment was not cleaned when moved in (no fresh paint or cleaned carpet, had cobwebs hanging from ceiling, stains on carpet, fire extinguisher not charged since moved in- reported several times, no one has replaced); hardly anyone leashes their dog (have been scared by a few dogs who have come up behind me growling) or cleans after dog on lawns, including apartment employees who live onsite- not nice for kids to play on the lawns with dog 'landmines' everywhere; laundry facilities and building hallways are dirty; neighbors always screaming/swearing; in humid weather yellow 'gunk' runs down the walls-no smokers in our apartment to cause this; halls smell of stale smoke; stairs are uneven and feel like you will fall through; get an answering service who cannot assist/when have left messages in past, management claims they never got the messages; scary neighborhood, especially after dark; office staff usually friendly, but concerns are not addressed very well. If I left anything out, just assume it is not good.
