Only Move Here if You Like Cockroaches and Bedbugs

My boyfriend and I lived at the Tiffany Apartments at 1045 S. Birch St. Glendale, CO 80246. He signed a year long lease and had to break it after less than six months because this place was so horrible. Because a big corporation owns this place, the lease is 20 pages long, complicated, and very expensive to break. The whole complex is infested with cockroaches and bedbugs. Every month, he had to move his stuff so that the exterminaters could spray, but the bugs kept coming back. This is in part because many of the other tenants wouldn't move their things for the exterminators and thus did not get their apartments sprayed. The stairwells are filled with trash and smell like rotten food. The whole place is nasty and run down. The management (Carmel Corporation) and the staff do not care about their tenants and do nothing to enforce health, safety, or noise rules. The complex is noisy and there are often children shouting and running up and down the halls in the middle of the night. Even if you are on a budget, any place is better than here.
