I recently moved out of this complex after living there for two and a half years, and I would never recommend anyone to live here. Although it looks nice, they try to take you for everything you're worth. After living there a year, our rent skyrocketed! If you want to get maintanence done on your apartment, it can sometimes take up to three weeks... ridiculous! They also just added a $25 a month fee for trash! They were extremely rude when we told them we were moving. They will not work with good tenants in anyway. We almost had to go month to month b/c we were buying a house, and they were going to raise the rent $500 a month. We were so frustrted with the management, we hired professional cleaners to do our move out clean. We would rather give our money to someone else than to Carriage Place. When we did our walk through, the woman (who I'd never seen before after living there for 2 1/2 years) picked the place apart, saying there were a couple crumbs here and a hair in the bathroom. She then told us that we would have to pay for cleaners, which would come out of our deposit. They appear to be pet friendly, but when you move out, they charge you $400 to replace the pads in the carpet. We left the place spotless (seriously, never left a place this clean), but are not getting any of our deposit back. I have had other friends who have lived here that have said the same! This place has TERRIBLE Management! DO NOT move here... unless you want to end up broke. I read the same type of review before I moved in. Now I wish I would have listened. More of a hassele than it's worth.
