We lived at cherry plaza apartments for several years. Over ten to be exact. It started out to be a great place. I even helped out with part time work in the office. There have been alot of changes with the staff and it hasnt been a good effective change. There has been a few good people that have come through the office but most of them are not worth a damn. There was a blonde lady there at the beginning of the year that was nice when she needed to be but really wasnt that friendly on a day to day basis. The office manager is a whole other story. She avoids conflict at every oppurtunity and risks losing good tenants in the mean time. She doesnt put her tenants first, she actually would rather sit in her office in the dark as she does everyday avoiding us residents.we were very loyal to this community until it was very uncomfortable to be there. We felt unsafe to be there or to go into the courtyard. When we went to manangemnt and talked to her she said she understood and would take care of everything and nothing was ever done. The leasing agent that was there when we left in august in a very nice friendly person. she would get out of her chair to talk to us and make us feel welcome. She is a great leasing person and deserves to be recognized for what she does for people. Its sad that we had to move out after spending so many years there, although we are not very far away, just down the street we are very happy at our new place. We wish all new resident luck with dealing with the management. We hope your stay and experience is more like it was for us over 10 years ago. If you do get to deal with the leasing girl right at the front window rest asured you will be taken care of in an honest way. There is room for a lot of improvements but if you dont care about management or how things are run than you will have no issues with living there.

If this is who I think it is, you didn't give the manager a chance to take care of the problem you were having with some other tenants because those people are now gone because the manager evicted them!
I've been here about 5 years myself and I think the current manager is the better out of the ones we've had in the past years. You can't blame your personal fights with other tenants on management. And there's no way she avoids conflict, I've seen her get up in people's faces before about them causing trouble and for such a short lady she has got some guts! She really cleaned this place up. She's always in her office becuase she's working! Unlike that one dude we had a couple of years ago who was never there at all.
The leasing person you're talking of is never even there. Just because she'd chit chat with you all the time doesn't mean she's good at her job. I get tired of people like you making YOUR problems out to be problems with the apartments. I have no plan to move anytime soon because I like it here.
