Cierra Crest

 

I have lived here for the past 9 monthes.

Overall, I am very happy with Cierra Crest.

Pluses: They keep the ground well lit, clean, and the pool area is nice.

Plenty of parking, recently resurfaced roads are all done.

My apartment is beautiful.

Its generally very quiet.

Lots of light and clean.

Huge deck outside! Nice staff, they keep up with maintanance well.

One of the best floor plan's I've seen in the Tech Center.

Its a ten minute bike ride to work, so that is nice too.

Pretty cool view from the hilltop here.

Very comfortable and safe feeling.

Drawbacks: Ongoing T-REX construction can be noticable at times (especially very late at night), and the lights they use are very bright, so get a unit away from I-25.

Poorly sealed sliding glass doors and windows let in quite a lot of cold air, and the hot water heater is in a closet out on the deck, which becomes costly in the winter (I pay 50-70 bucks per month to Excel for just myself, not too good).

The workout area is tiny, hardly anyone uses it.

There is no on-site laundry area, but they offer cheap rental of washer/dryers.

The golf course next to it will disappear soon to development and a Light-Rail sub station, so keep that in mind.

Overall: This is a good spot, I have enjoyed being here.
