First, the bad.
1) Thin, thin walls. You can hear EVERYTHING.

2) Lots of trashy neighbors. Ghetto action. I've seen fights break out in the parking lot, cars broken into, etc. Mailboxes have been broken into. In fact, somebody stole my identity that way.

3) Appliances are seriously outdated. Upgrades are needed.

4) The whole place is very cheaply made. Cheap doors, counters, appliances, blinds, etc.

The Good.
1) Always had good relations with management and maintanance. I treat them professionally and expect the same.

2) I have liked the loft design.

3) Lots of storage space in the loft apartment.

4) Reasonably priced.

I've read a lot of snow complaints for EVERY apartment. I bought a snow shovel a few months back. Driving home that day, I noticed the plows weren't getting much done. So, I took the liberty, put on my ski gear to keep warm, and starting digging out my own steps, and helping out my neighbors who weren't well prepared. Also, I walked down the streets and dug people out of ditches. It beats sitting on the couch watching movies. That, and if people were more willing to be a community, we probably wouldn't have as many crime problems and issues in relying on public services. The community should be the first line of public service.
