In my time at Colinas Pointe, I have encountered nothing but problems. Upon moving in, my apartment had graffiti all over it, there were holes in doors, the brand new carpeting had staples sticking up everywhere, and was not properly laid in many places leaving large flaps of carpet you can lift, the main bathroom smells like urine. After two and a half weeks the property decided to look at the toilet, they then said they were going to have to rip out the entire bathroom' Shouldn't these items be addressed before renting an apartment' Office staff refuses to admit fault for giving a shabby apartment, it is no place to live. If you want substandard service and an incompetent and irresponsible office staff then this is the place for you!

The maintnence is very good with taking care of issues here. They have changed management companys from Equity and now all work orders are sposed to be done with in 72 hours. It has been in my case so far, since June when the switch was made. So considering that you moved in 2007 things will probably get better for you. In my situation the office staff has taken care of the couple issues I have had with nothing but plightness. Good luck to you, and like I said I think the new management may be a good thing for the complex
