Moved in and the apartment seemed clean.. After a few days the clean smell started going away, and the cat urine smell started appearing. Then I vacuumed the carpet and the vacuum starts sucking up cat litter from underneath the carpet! Call the office, they say they'll clean it, I say ok but I dont think it'll help.. They clean it, but the smell is back a few days later. Call them again and they say they'll take the carpet out, clean it again (including removing the cat litter from underneath) and put the carpet back.. I say ok this better work, I'm getting angry about it. Carpet cleaners didnt show up on the day scheduled.. Finally had to demand that they put new carpet in or I'll take legal action. They did replace the carpet, but that smell never completely went away...
Also had very noisy upstairs neighbor. Constantly complaining to management about it. Management never took it seriously until I give my notice to move out, then they are bending over backwards to try and get me to stay (offering to make the neighbor move, etc).. A little to late for that.
