I rented this apartment because of the location, the style of the Garden apartments, and the amenities offered. However--this is THE most inconvenient apartment I've ever lived in--with no garbage disposal, and trash/recycling that is literally a 10 minute walk.

You also don't have control over the heat--which is on almost year round--my apartment is so hot, I have to keep almost all of my windows open, and that's in the middle of winter.

The maintenance staff is really great and very friendly--however, it often takes 2-3 calls to ensure things are fixed properly--even when maintenance is related to safety. Then, the front desk calls and asks if things were fixed to your satisfaction--when they haven't even checked to see if the job has been finished (generally it isn't). They need to take more responsibility for the fixes--instead of asking tenants to monitor.

Speaking of the front desk...I am a really reasonable and polite person but several times, especially when inquiring about maintenance, they have been short with me to the point of rude.
