Have you noticed that the only two reviews that are positives are written by anonymous people - I bet they were written by the leasing office!
This place sucks. Don't ask me why I have lived here for so long - it's mostly because I'm too busy to take the time to move so I stupidly shell out a mortgage each month to live her.
My main complaint is that the apartment is NEVER warm enough in the winter no matter how many millions of times maintenance comes to fix the heater (my cat even freezes and insists on sleeping under a lamp!. And, for a $900 a month one bedroom, you'd think it would be air conditioned but it's not. There's no garbage disposal either and whenever I've called to have something fixed it's either never done (until I threaten not to pay my rent) or done half assed.
When I inquired into why exactly my rent is so high when my neighbor, who just moved in a month ago pays almost $300 less than I do, I didn't get a straight answer - they even had the balls to tell me that my rent price is WAY under the market rate. Well, I'd like to know where the "market rate" calculator is becuase I don't know anyone who lives in a 1 bedroom in wash park that pays $900 a month unless they live in those butt ugly buildings on downing street which are brand new.Okay, and the staff is usually nice to your face but you get the impression that they're a bunch of gossips. One time this kid puked in the pool and on the ledge. I went to tell the front desk and she just looked at me like I was crazy. That's a HEALTH HAZARD
