Attractive Retro styled apartment in the gardens

This is the first place I moved to after moving to Denver. I wasn't sure where to move but since Country Club Towers was very close to my work I decided to try it out. I felt the price I paid for my One bedroom was fair..
I've only had a minimum of maintenance issues with my apartment. Some of which included a broken door lock, a leaky sink and one or two light bulbs.. All of which were fixed promptly... my broken door lock was fixed the same afternoon I put the work order in. I took lunch at home and maintenance came by and put the new dead bolt in (which required a hole saw to cut a new hole in the door) and gave me my new key before my lunch hour was up! The sawdust was vaccumed and the lock worked smooth as butter!

I think the gardens are beautiful and well maintained. I enjoyed the flowers and the healthy Ivy that grows on the buildings every summer.. The landscaping is replaced fairly often and you will find the color schemes change from year to year.

a Very East coast feel with the old Brick architechture and the thick Ivy.. there are Many mature Trees to provide shade for my apartment and atmosphere to the grounds.

In my Personal Opinion it's the PERFECT bachelor pad with attitude... My girlfriends agree..

Yes, it is radiant heat with no controls, no Dishwasher, and no Garbage disposals, no A/C, and the property is quite pet friendly which is good for some but can be noisy in the late morning when their owners leave for the day...

I knew all this before I rented the apartment and it's something you have to take into account before renting here. Anyone complaining about any of the above should be more observant of the apartment they are signing a lease on before penning their John Hancock..

That said every one of my neighbors has been VERY responsive to my complaints (always issued dirctly before calling management) and the pet noise quieted considerably after I just went to the trouble of telling the owner..

Those are the only complaints I have..

The front desk staff has been VERY helpful with my mail and packages. I recieve some pretty big boxes sometimes and they ALWAYS recieve them, sign for them, and then call me mid afternoon before lunch to inform me I have a package. There are ALWAYS fresh cookies at the front desk office window along with a curtosey phone and FREE wireless Internet access in the Tower lobby.

I use the workout facilities regularly as they are availible for use by all residents.

There is a full size pool table and a Big screen TV in the recreation area in the basement, Equiped with a small bar for serving drinks and a wine refrigerator.. a big bonus for entertaining small parties..

There is also a library with another bigscreen TV and a sitting area.. I often use this area to surf the web and enjoy some of the free coffee.

The maintenance staff is competent and I believe they have added a few workers to their ranks as I have noticed ALL my work orders are being handled the same or next day..

I've NEVER had a problem with my hot water.. it always comes on right away and is HOT... I am on the 4th floor of my building in the gardens so I would think I might have issues.... but it would seem they have the boiler tuned right in my building. I was around for the pipe break that required the water be shut off.. They had it fixed by that evening and I was taking my usual hot shower after work around 7PM. Which tells me the maintenance staff was in working on the issue after hours.

So for the record I am only leaving Country Club Towers and Gardens because I am moving into a nice house in Broomfield.

It's a hard move because I've become VERY attached to the character of the grounds, my apartment and the staff.

I would and DO recommend this apartment to friends and co-workers.

If anyone would like some real world testimonial from someone who actually lived here please feel free to E-mail me @ citat3962@yahoo.com.. my name is Drew..

Thanks and happy home hunting!
