As the manager of The Crossing Apartment Homes since 7/23/04, I have raised the bar of excellence with staff and the property as a whole.

The property and the area had a bad reputation in the past, as I said the past.

Montbello has the lowest crime rate in the city of Denver.

It has become a safer and diversed area over the last 5 years.

I am not only the manager but I have also been a resident in the Montbello area for 4 years.

The Crossing Apatments has one of the worst service in the County of Denver, and maybe in the state of Colorado. I have lived at the Crossing for several years now and the issues are as follows; Water being turned off almost on a daily basis (sometimes in the middle of the shower covered in soap!) for up to 3 or four hours supossely for repairs, no heat in the winter for days (they dont consider that an emergency to respond to ASAP! They'll tell you to sleep with a friend or family, period.) NO AC in the summer for weeks (like at this moment), and it can take them a week or two, maybe even more to respond to maintenance issues. Elevator for the mid rise buildings have two but one has worked in a year, there are times when neither elevator work for a week or two, so you have to take the stairs all the way to the top floor carrying what ever. They dont care, its an issue for them that happen, nut dont see it actually, therefor they dont feel what its like to live in those conditions. The other thing is they have security by the Denver police to give out tickets for parking violations and no security for the property. Vandals paint on the walls, elevators and doors, they steal stereos from the vehicles and break casr windows just for the fun. Security sould be guarding property, not giving ickets to parked vehicles!?!?! However the new management has been real good, and has made improvements of property. You only receive immidiate attention if you can get ahold of her directly. But the maintenance issues still continue, and the parking lots are dirty to where any day you can get a flat tired by nails, glass or metal. Rent everytime you renew your contract the rate increase, even if you paid early every month. 1 out of 10 I give theese apartments a 4 of 10, period. Maintenance issues, mnagement needs to respond quickly, and manage more effeciently.
