The Denver House apartments has a BEAUTIFUL VIEW, but it is FULL OF ASBESTOS. MANAGEMENT DENIES ASBESTOS, and WE ARE SUEING!!! There is 7% Crystalline Asbestos visiable in the ceilings of the apartments. The apartment company denies the fact and never warned us of the possible exposure to asbestos. They should be condemed with a health factor such as this.

Asbestos can only be seen under a microscope so how is it visible on the ceilings. Are you sure its not stucco you are looking at. I will agree with the poor management though! She is very snotty, short with you on the phone, and pretty much the -----. I love her fake help dog though, and oh yeah, you're not supposed to have pets here but half of the building has cats so what she doesn't know won't hurt her!

When I moved in, I was told there was asbestos in the ceilings and to avoid disturbing it. There's nothing wrong with asbestos if it's not flying around in the air. Quite possibly, asbestos kept the whole building from going up in flames a few years ago. How's your health? Got the x-rays showing asbestosis? If not, your lawsuit will go nowhere. The stuff is simply everywhere. There's a condo building within view of Denver House at 12th and Penn. It was vacant for several years for asbestos abatement. I hope you have another place to live and are ready to re-invest 200K in a condo if you force abatement of Denver House.
