I dont know where to start with this review.
1. First off the parking is nightmare. If you get home after 5 pm, good luck in finding a parking spot near your building. The owner of Mira Vista should have been smarter when building this small community and thought of more parking.
2. The walls are like aluminum foil. They are nearly maybe a quarter inch thick. My girlfriend and I tried to hang up some new curtains. Well when the head of the nail would go into the wall it would go all the way through because the inside of the wall is hollow after breaking the surface. Took us hours to hang curtains up or anything else on the walls.
3. The noise levels are horrible. In my bedroom I can hear my neighbors TV and her flushing the toilet. In my living room I can hear my neighbors washer and dryer. The people above me I can hear them through the hollow roof stomping around on the floor. The people that lived upstairs before them you could hear their dog running around all the time. One night I went upstairs to let them know to calm their dog down and I saw that it was a small Jack Russell maybe no more than 6 pounds. Very thin walls and roof!!!!!
3. In front of my building during the spring and summer at 7:10 am the sprinklers would go off near the walk way where the cars are parked dousing my work pants going to my car. Other times the sprinklers would go turn on late at night or early in the morning. So when I tell the staff if they can re-do the time the sprinklers go off on the days they turn on at 7:10 all I get is I will talk to the maintenance man about it. Nothing was ever done.
4. Three out of four times that I have called maintenance they have come to fix my problems anywhere from 2 days to 3 weeks. You have to stay on the front office to let maintenance know about your problems.
5. The water pressure in my shower is non-existent. I have changed the shower head because the water is so light in coming out to a better shower head which barely makes a difference.
6. Now a car was just stolen from inside the complex!! The complex is in bad area any way so who knows what else will happen.

These aparartments may look nice from the outside and inside when youre taking a tour but just know that the nightmare begins once you live in them. I cant wait till the lease is up to get away from here.
