Despite a couple eccentric people who repeatedly write poor reviews of Foxfire, it actually is a great place to live. I'm moving out of town and so was checking out reviews of other apartments. I decided to see how my own apartment complex rates... I was initially very surprised at the poor reviews, but as I started reading through them, it seems there are a couple of people who hang out here just to consistently write bad reviews for a grudge they are holding.
This isn't a luxury apartment complex. But it is still nice; especially the apartments. They were recently renovated and are comfortable, quiet and large. That to me is the most important thing. There is an exercise room that I have used frequently or if you prefer you can now go across the street for an $8/month sports club (price for Glendale residents). The staff is very nice, I've never had a problem with them. In fact, I find it very beneficial that they will accept packages for you so you don't have to go to the post office or worse, go to UPS or FedEx. The swimming pool is heated during the winter and is SO nice to enjoy all year long. The complex is in a great location near the light-rail (Colorado Blvd station) or if want, downtown is only a few minutes drive away.
Anyway, I could go on, but I just wanted to let readers know that most of these negative reviews seem to come from the same people using different usernames. Foxfire has been a great place for me to live for 3 years now and I know there are people who have been here MUCH longer than that. There is a reason they stay.
