Good place to live.

This is a good place to live. Its not far from downtown. In fact, you can see the capitol and the downtown buildings from the front. There are two different buildings, which, by the way... the apartments have been changed to "The Franklin Roosevelt Apartments." There is a small courtyard between the buildings.
The apartments are very nice, with art-deco style architecture. They are well-updated also. The buildings are pretty secure. They have key-pad access at the front. Parking isn't that great. There's only 8 spaces in the back, and its about $100 extra to get one.
The manager is very nice, and the maintenance guy handles problems in a timely manner. I've only had one maintenance problem since i've lived here, so at least with my apartment, hardly anything has gone wrong.
There are a lot of younger people who live here. But I have seen a few older people as well. The walls are really sound-proof. But, there will be the occassional loud noise outside near the weekends. But, you can usually only hear it if your windows are open.
Overall these apartments are pretty good, well-kept, and averagely priced.
