You get what you pay for - the epitome of mediocre living

Ha, the last reviewer loves it because she works for them!! I am almost positive (unless there is ANOTHER tenant living there with two Yorkies) that that review was written by the residence manager! Not a very "classy" move to pose as a neutral reviewer.
In any event, I wouldn't call these apartments "classy" to say the least. First and foremost, the HEAT is practically unbearable in this place. The tiny air conditioners (even with a brand new one in my place) are simply not enough to cool a 500-800 sq ft apartment. I unwillingly lost weight in the summer and woke up sticking to my sheets. They have a swamp cooler that only cools the hallways, so don't be fooled when you go look at the place. Unless you want to leave your door wide open and use a chain of fans to steal the hallway air (don't laugh, some do) your place won't be cool.
The remodeled apartments look pretty decent, but good luck getting into one as most are not remodeled.
Also, regardless of what apartment you live in, the water is out regularly, almost weekly. Don't ask why, because I don't know. It always seemed to be at inopportune times though.
The courtyard (which used to be a pool) is useless. I have never seen anyone in there. There was supposed to be gas grills, but that never happened.
Oh, and lets not forget about the elevator that takes 10 minutes to get to you and will sometimes forgets what floor you are going to and goes back to the bottom!
The ongoing remodeling is a pain, with the noise and paint everywhere.
Oh and last but not least... Yes, the new owners hired a new maintenance staff, but I highly doubt they dug very far into their references, since the main guy split town after an incident that brought police looking for him on potential murder charges and the current guys didn't understand what I was saying because I didn't speak their language. I had a maintenance order in and they finally decided to come 3 months later and didn't even let me know they were coming! Very classy!
Like I said, you get what you pay for. Actually, this place is probably not even worth it.
