Yeah, the review written by "classy living... I love living here and it's affordable" was written by the building manager but she does also live here. Her opinion counts somewhat because she is a resident.
The building has been under construction for a couple years and the water does go out on a regular basis-several times a month is my guess. It is an older building so it's going to have problems. The heating is tempermental. Some floors are very hot while others are cold and there is nothing you can do to adjust this. I saw some apartment windows open during the winter because the people were trying to cool off while other apartments were cold. The owner gets a heating bill for the whole building and then divides it up between the residents so you end up paying for heat that goes out the window! You get a bill posted on the front of your door; sometimes it's monthly and other times you get a big bill for several months in a row. I sometimes wondered how accurate my bills were because they were posted so irregularly. The maintanence is so-so but that's not unusual in an older building that's under construction.
The parking lot is well-lit and monitored so that's a plus. They try to keep up with the grounds and trash too. All in all, it's an okay place to live.
