not to mention how many people are disabled from being mentally disturbed, or addicts, increases the stress on other tenants. About half the tenants are smokers, and the smell is everywhere because the tenants often smell like ashtrays.
There were many days when there was no water for 8 hours. If you wanted a shower late at night or early in the morning, there either was no hot water, or a limited amount.
The studio apartments are not only small, but they have low ceilings, and it feels like you're living in a box. Federal Blvd. is noisy, and kicks up the dust, so everything must be dusted frequently. The windows are old, and whistle when it's windy.
Fire first responders come about 6 days a week. People die in their rooms, and aren't discovered until it smells. Don't move in here.
Management is pleasant, but pay lip service more than actually does anything. There is a part-time guard who writes up people who try to sneak in, tenants who break the rules, lights that have gone out, etc. Nothing is done. Tenants steal lightbulbs from the hall, even the fixtures. One time they stole all the lobby furniture, and another a whole floor's worth of carpeting. There was a library and computer room for tenants, but it was closed for over a year the last I saw. It is full of really low class people who would steal your wallet if you turned your back. I am so happy now that I live in a building where people are fun and the place is quiet and clean, and no one would think of stealing a clock from a wall, or a flower arrangement, or a light fixture! Laundry in basement is spooky and has bugs like cockroaches and bedbugs, even though it often sprayed. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
