Ok, but not great

I currently live in Hampden Village, and while I enjoy my apartment my largest concern is the lack of communication from the office staff. They are sometimes in the office, sometimes not. The person who showed me the apartment and was in charge has been moved to another property, so I have no working relationship with the new super. Also, my phone calls are never returned, so if you call then don't leave a message. If I'm lucky enough to actually catch the office staff on the phone, they don't seem to care about my concerns, but rather care more about getting off the phone. Maybe this is all normal, but I get the feeling that either they need more help or an attitude that is geared towards caring for their tenants. Also, when I first moved in my key didn't work, and the staff seemed inconvenienced that they had to come back five minutes after 5 so I could get in the door.
As far as the apartment itself goes, I like it, but there are some issues. For one, my neighbors smoke inside the building when it's a non smoking complex. For another thing, my apartment was rented by someone who didn't take very good care of it before, and the maintenance staff didn't fix it up before trying to rent it out. But otherwise I have no complaints.
Could things be better' Yes. All we need here at Hampden Village is a crew who cares more about their tenants' needs.
