I moved in 12-05 and out 9-05. The original management (malta bend group) was great and everything was addressed pretty quickly. Even before move in they were easy to deal with and available to help....in fact they were more than helpful in most aspects. The building was kept up well and you'd actually see the management on site as well.
The radiators did make noise at night and weren't really easy to control.
No problems for the most part. Parking can get dicey with the church next door and being so close to downtown. The alley is always dirty with bums or eviction trash or whatever. Not the best neighborhood either, and the corner harbors a pretty gritty bus stop. Being so close to all the action has it's price, I guess. This isn't Aspen.

I have no idea of the new management, but it souonds as if they are exploiting this building. My rent was very cheap but for what I guess the new mgmnt is charging you may want to look a bit farther from downtown.
