BEWARE!!! SHADY PLACE!!! DON'T MOVE IN!!!!

I moved in with my boyfriend about 9 months ago. It was a horrible mistake! Although the apartment is quite spacious, you can hear everyone around you and maintanace is non existant! There's never any parking spaces because the "handicap" cars park in regular spaces when there are two spaces designated for them. The area is scary. There was a shooting in our parking lot. The mall that used to be here shut down and businesses are leaving because there's no business here. The roads have pot holes everywhere and aren't going to be repaired anytime soon because there are no businesses around them. A drugged up suicidal resident had the cops called on him twice because of domestic disturbances. He drove into the side of the building and took out two parking blocks (which never got repaired BIG SURPRISE!!!) The hallway roof leaks constantly when it rains and even though we've reported it several times, they just patch the cieling instead of fixing the roof so it leaks again and again. Our neighbors reported having their light fixtures fill with water when it rains. When it snows there is always ice on the walkway. They rarely come out and shovel or salt the walkways. The overall apartment is old and needs improvement, but the complex doesn't seem to be motivated to help out the situation at all. If you leave messages with the office, they will never call you back even though they "promise" they will. There are cracks and leaks all over the place. The stairs in the hallway are broken and the carpet looks like it has blood pools all over it. They say they are going to clean it but they never do. It smells like cat pee in the hallway and the front door doesnt lock properly so anyone can get in at anytime. The apartment complex had to set up a rewards system for residents to get them to pay their rent on time! There are dogs barking constantly!!!!!! and people don't pick up their dog poop in the front and back of the building (YUM). If you sign a year lease and recieve a 100 dollar discount on it and want to renew your lease, they will remove the discount and make you pay full price. (way to reward those who stick around). The pool isn't open yet and it's May!!! Everyone's moving out because they hate it here, and we are doing the same. Don't waste your time with this place you can find somewhere else for the same price that is much better!

A rewards system. This must be the first place u have ever lived dumb butt. Every complex does an 'early bird' thing. Its called being NICE.
