Would never recommend these apartments. The staff is nice when your want to move in, but as soon as you do, they could care less. They are in it for the money. You will get a flyer everyday on your door about some new rule. They won't just let you live! They are so worried about how the outside of the apartments look that they 'let' you put next to nothing out on your balcony. And if you do put something (say towels out to dry for a few hours) be assured you will get a letter about it along with a $25 fee. Don't waste your money!

Actually, it says in the agreement you sign that you are not allowed to put out laundry, storage containers or trash on your balcony. I just left after 2 1/2 years and only had an issue with a storage container. You can have your bikes and plants on the balcony. Really have to read through the agreement before signing to avoid such issues. The only real problems I've had with Hawthorne Hill is the annual cleaning is a joke, and neighbors were loud. I left and most the office staff were really helpful.

Screw managment's response...the 2/6 anonymous response is managment. They are not supposed to respond to these. Poor business ethics. Just hire people that are positive and managment wont have to feel the need to defend themselves on apartment ratings. Staff are -------s. True. Some are ok though.

You are probably one of the super ghetto people that should have been kicked out anyway. I love these apartments, and the staff is VERY friendly and caring. They do a good job keeping these Luxury apartments NICE, and keep the trash in the trash cans.
