These apartments are now called Sienna at Cherry Creek. Since the change in ownership/management, this place has been in a downward spiral. I have lived here for nearly a year, and my fiancee and I already have another place lined up when we move out in December. (we're breaking our lease to do so) Everything is nice looking, and the improvements are nice, I'm glad I'm not the one paying for the work though. I have personally witnessed the construction crew doing everything BUT working. Including, but not limited to: urinating in the parking lot, gawking and drooling over all the female tenants, taking 90 minute lunch breaks, and watching you inside your apartment... while they're allegedly working on the window.... CREEPY. Anyone want to make a guess at their ethnicity, be my guest.

Now, we move on to if and when you have noisy neighbors. We have a neighbor in which we have nicknamed "Music Lover" and/or "Drummer Boy." He plays his music and drums at ANY and ALL hours of the day and night. Including 11:00 pm, 1:30 am, 3:30 am, 7:00 am on a Saturday, 6:30 am the following Sunday, etc. I made a complaint to the OLD management, and the noise went away. Then came in the new management, and the noise followed. We have put POLITE notes on his door requesting that he "keep it to a dull roar." (we'll keep dreaming) We've made several complaints to management (that we now count on 2 hands), and long story short.... WE'RE NOW BREAKING OUR LEASE AND MOVING OUT. I think you get the picture.

Lastly comes the maintenance crew. Just what exactly do they do all day'! A whole lot of nothing is our guess. We got the first fall snow on the 21st, that snow turned to ICE soon there after, and the ice remained on the stairs and on the sidewalk for the next 48 hours. It took the second business day for them to take care of business there. My guess is that they never did, and the sun just melted it. And this was REALLY slippery ice outside too. I've seen my life flash before my eyes walking downstairs these last two days. You think it'll get better with MORE snow' PS. This problem NEVER happened with the old crew. I personally witnessed maintenance out in the parking lot at 5 am shoveling snow, etc. Seriously. One more stab at maintenance is the property lights that go on and off throughout the night. The light shines so bright, it goes through my blinds AND MY CURTAINS. It's as if someone is shining a flashlight in your face (and turning it on and off) while you're trying to sleep. We made a complaint about that exactly one week ago, and just got a call today saying that they'll put a "work order in for the light" and it'll be taken care of in the next 6 - 9 YEARS! And maintenance were the ones who screwed with the lights a couple of weeks ago anyway!

I hate to sound like a complainer, because we're not. This place was GREAT... when it was "Equity Residential." Since it joined the dark side of "Holland Residential" .......it's gone to crap. They also told us that they put "music lover" on notice, and he now has to shut up or shape out. Funny thing is that his music was loud this evening, and I'm hearing it now at 11:00 pm.

So this place is a GREAT place to live.... if you want to shovel your own snow, fix the property lights that light up your bedroom at night, and you can sleep with a neighbor's drums and woofer vibrating your brain, construction crew masturbating at the sight of your girlfriend, and urinating in the parking lot next to your parking space, etc., etc., ETC.! Personally, we've gotten annoyed, and we're now moving.
