Kinda funny when I first signed the lease and moved in, the manager sold me on the heated pool open in the winter time, avail. garage parking, sauna and fitness room. Even though the pool was heated just enough to prevent it from freezing, it has never been cleaned and sh#t covers the bottom. The sauna and fitness rooms have no exercise equip., but they do have old broken dishwashers and stoves stored there. The garage was always subject to graffiti and the door has always been broken. The billiards room was once usable, but graffiti and vandalism shut it down and was never cleaned. Heating and A/C worked intermittently. Maintenance requests took weeks to complete. One month we did not have running water for 7 days. Water was always brown. Upon notice to terminate lease, owner FORCED me into another month's rent as they would only accept notices on the first of the month and I put mine in on the second due to a weekend. Owner would not budge, but manager at the time was willing to work with me. She was charged with domestic disturbance and disturbing the peace and she told me she would post-date my notice if I were to lie to the police for her. Of course I didn't and I ended up paying the rent. Joe Furer REFUSES to invest any money into an old, dilapidated building that is due for SERIOUS repair. False fire alarms occured 3 times a week when I first moved in. No exaggeration. The unit next to me was rented to meth dealers and upon eviction in June of '06, the managers still have yet to clean and repair the apartment. As the door remains unlocked, anybody may view the black disgust and filth these guys lived in and management still has yet to clean. YOU WILL SERIOUSLY REGRET MOVING HERE!!!!
