I've enjoyed my stay here. With all of the new development in the suburbs, it's hard to find a complex with so many trees and shrubs. The landscape is so nice here and there is plenty of shade on my balcony and it's easy to keep the place cool in the summer. There is a nice windbreak in winter, so it stays pretty warm. So there IS an advantage to renting in an older complex.

Yes, the kitchen is small, but there is plenty of room for a butcher's cart to give extra workspace. The vaulted ceilings and large windows make for a sunny, cozy feel and we save on our electric bill because we don't have to turn on many lights in the daytime.

I do wish there was overhead lighting in the bedrooms. It would be nice not to have to use so many lamps at night. I also would like more soundproofing, but it's an older place, so you just deal with it. It's really not that bad. Especially for the amount of rent we pay each month. For such a nice area, you'd expect to pay a lot more. It's close enough to shopping and the view of the Front Range is fantastic. I'm still in awe that we pay less than $600 for a two bedroom for such a great location.

Finally, the office staff are great compared to a lot of other places. They've always been friendly to us and made sure maintainance requests were filled promptly. Things are fixed right the first time and there is no grumbling from the workers, even if it's on a Sunday. All in all, I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to pay less for a really nice older apartment.
