My husband and I lived in these apartments for 2 1/2 years. The management changed about a year after we moved in. I must say I was never completely satisfied with either management. We lived in our first apartment there for a year and a couple of months and were forced to move out the day after Christmas because we had mold growing in the apartment from a water leak that they swore was fixed. Everytime we told them it was leaking again they came in ripped out the dry wall, patched it and 2 weeks later it'd leak again. We moved into another apartment and they made us pay higher rent and a security deposit (we didn't have to pay one the first time around). The second apartment was great until the spring came and we had ants in our kitchen, hundreds of them. They sprayed but the ants kept returning. Eventually I just got the raid houses and got rid of them myself. The remodel they did was nice, we never got to live in one of the upgraded apartments though. The biggest downfall I had was the grounds and dog poop. We have a dog and always cleaned up after it but I felt like we were the only ones. I complained repeatedly to the management and they said they were going to start charging fines if they caught someone not picking it up...when we moved out a month ago nothing had changed and I started complaining in March. The only reason we lived here for so long was because the rent was cheap and we were saving to buy a house, which we've since done and it's so much better. Watch the management, Peggy is wonderful but Erin and Breanna get a little bit rude sometimes. The maintenance isn't the greatest either. I had my key break in our door one day and couldn't get it unlocked...I had to wait 2 hours for someone to help me get into the apartment. I don't recommend these apartments but if you can deal with the downfalls for a short period of time they are not overpriced like many of the other ones in the area. Also, be careful when it snows, the parking lot isn't maintained very well.
