As with anything, you do run into an employee who is not very good at their job. That is very rare at Korsakov. Yes, Vicki is a good manager and a nice, friendly person. I had an issue with one of the week-end managers, but it was not Janice.

Apartments are spacious and in mostly good repair. Some units are older and have not been updated, but are still quite nice (I live in one of the non-updated units). Common areas are generally maintained quite well. Most repairs required to the building are taken care of in reasonable time, but there's always something going on in that area (mostly in the garage).

Noisy neighbors can be a problem, as you can hear a lot when they're outside (even with windows closed). Mostly, folks keep to themselves.

There is a parking lot and a parking garage. I'm glad to have a space in the garage - no weather issues to deal with when I want to get in the car and go! They are small, so I don't know if there is room for everyone - especially those households that have more than one vehicle.

Central heating and air conditioning. But, with one wall being all patio doors, and having no insulation, it can still get too cold or too hot - might need to have heat or air running at full blast to be comfortable.

Some of the maintenance staff are not English speakers, so that can pose difficulties in communicating what you need done.

There is a laundry room on each floor (just one washer and dryer), which makes it fairly convenient. Only problem is that some tenants will use the units on every floor at the same time, rendering them all unavailable. Have often had to laundry in the late evening due to waiting for machines to be available. BUT, the price to use the machines is very good!

SUMMARY: Quite a pleasant place to live
