Nice Place, Not Much Management

The building is nice and had a lot of great ammeneties. The pool is kept too cold so it's pretty much unuseable unless you want to be a member of the polar bear club. The rumor among residents is that the manager from the building next door that shares the pool keeps it cold because he likes to have it all to himself. This appears to be working because people hardly ever use it due to the temp.
The manager at the Korsakov is rarely in the office during business hours and if you call her she sounds annoyed with you most of the time. She is, for lack of a better word, lazy. If you want something done you can usually expect to wait several days before she gets around to it. So I suppose you should expect to take care of any issues on your own.
The apartments are nice and the common areas are kept clean. The maint staff are very friendly. Again, I would recommend the Korsakov as long as you don't need the manager or a pool.

I completely disagree with both of your complaints. I have lived in the Korsakov apartments for two years now and both of your statements could not be farther from the truth.
The pool is kept at a nice temperature and I often found people swimming. I swim all the time.
As for Vicki, she is anything but lazy!! Every time I saw her outside of her office she was cleaning or doing some kind of work around the buildings.
The Korsakov is a great place to live and both managers are great!!

I just had to respond to this posting. I have lived in Korsakov apartments now for over three years. I use the pool on a regular basis, and I even take my children in it during the winter, as it is an indoor pool. In my opinion the temperature is perfect, if it was too cold I wouldnt take my children in it. Not everyone can be pleased though. As for the manager, she is one of the friendliest people Ive ever met. She takes care of anything I have ever needed in a timely and friendly manner. Anytime I enter or exit the front door during business hours I am greeted by her in a cheerful manner from her desk. However, being a manager is NOT just a desk job, at times apartment managers have to leave the office to do various tasks around building. So, whoever wrote this obviously doesnt have a clue. I would recommned living here to anyone...After losing my house this was the next best thing to having a home again, and for that I am thankful..

The two comments above are probably from the managers. You had it right; lazy, unfriendly, and horrible managers. They should be fired; there are plenty other people who can do a much better job. Soft skills go a long way.

Clearly the two comments are from the managers. They both posted on the same day...interesting. I agree, the management is rude and lazy. Vicki usually seems to be on some kind of power trip and speaks to you as though she is your employer rather than you are her customer.
