Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008

I used to love this place. Never a problem with neighbors, good location, relatively cheap rent, but it is getting ridiculous now. For some reason, after living here for almost 2 years, a new neighbor(s) has decided it would be great if they continuously file noise complaints against me to the new staff. Unfortunately there is tenant in this building who is responsible for the noise, but now if there is a single complaint filed from this point on, I will be asked to leave the premises. The staff is somewhat understanding regarding the problem, I try to explain these noises do not come from my apartment, the staff seems to comprehend my arguments, but my file still contains every noise complaint possible. I don't own an apartment complex, but if I continuously received noise complaints, I would actually investigate them in some way instead of relying on a tenant to attempt to locate the noise. This is pretty much the only problem I've had here, in fact I've had three of my close friends move into this complex. But none of that matters, as these unfounded noise complaints will continue to be filed against me. Good luck in your apartment search, it seems this place has made many tenants upset, if this problem did not exist I would probably give it a good rating overall. Also, the pool is ridiculously busy every weekend.

Well I've lived at this complex for four years and yes I hate to say it but the noise is coming from your place and 4 individuals have moved out due to the load sound system you have. Its fine to play music but really 8am on a sunday morning when people are sleeping. The people that lived in 2220 tried to knock on your door before but the music or playstation you play was so loud you wouldnt answer the door. Jenny the former leasing person also came over to your place a month ago and you wouldnt answer but you could also hear the noise coming out your place. People arnt complaining just to complain. I work nights and have heard you as well. I pay rent and have here for 4 years. This noise didnt start till about 6 months ago. I understand your point of view but understand how frustrating it would be to try and sleep and you cant because your are hearing this noise off and on all the time.

I understand your point, and I agree there are likely some noises coming from a tenant in this building. Six months ago I was deployed to Afghanistan and this apartment was left unoccupied. I returned in late March / April, and on April 30th there was a single instance during the day when I was completely guilty of making way too much noise. Windows open, loud music, completely inconsiderate. Besides this single occurrence none of these other complaints were even founded. I unplugged my "loud sound system" and returned my dog to the Dumb Friends League immediately after being informed I disrupted other residents in the building. After a very informative discussion with the staff, they seem to believe the noise is actually coming from a different tenant. So I guess this place isn't that bad after all.
