Terrible New Management!!!

if you ever want anything fixed in your apartment. you call and they say they will try and get someone there that day. they never come, and don't call you. you call them and they have what seems to be a scripted response, "there were emergencies, we will be there tomorrow". so you end up wasting two days instead of one. when they could have just told you a time for the next day. and this is the same scenario all the time. i have been through it at least 3 times. they are not respectful of your time. but the actual guy who does the repairs is great and friendly and efficient.
if you call and complain about the neighbors music so loud it shakes your place all the time. they don't care and they don't do anything. no matter how many times it happens. no matter how many times security has to do a report. the management doesn't enforce anything.
cigarette smoke fills our apartment from the neighbors, where it is so bad we have to leave sometimes. and again, they won't do anything about it.
pool is supposed to be open on memorial day. when it has already been sunny for at least a few weeks. we had guest in town, excited for the pool. well it never opened and it was actually a couple more weeks, even though every day they said, "tomorrow".
hot tub is supposed to be open year round, it usually isn't.
they re-did the gym...supposedly...its terrible.
it is supposedly a secured apartment complex. the gates have NEVER been closed. our neighbors car has been broken into.

Hey Im having the same problem...it would be interesting to find out if we are in the same building...I came home at lunch today to find the front of my complex still a mess from the person that got evicted yesterday...Dog ---- is everywhere and when you call and complain they never call back. All I ever see the manager doing is eating in the back and driving the golf cart around. I've lived at lakecrest for 5 years and it has gone down hill. I would advise anyone to not move here...Its getting worse by the day.

100% agree. very rude. uncaring. don't think it could get any worse than it is here. can't wait til lease is up. very suprised owners allow this to go on. they are losing a lot of money, and they are going to continue to lose even more. even the upper management, that oversees this goup here. is more rude and more awful.

Yes, It is very sad that when they sold the property they don't enforce the crew and management in taking care of the property and its renters. It is very pathetic that there is absolutely no order, whatsoever. The "New" management was very uncaring to our needs and are downright offensive and rude. Their so-called remodeling "rent hikes" were so incredibly rediculous, also. The gates never being shut has been going on forever. These and everybody elses reasons are why my family moved from this wanna-be luxurious apartment comlex. Property owners... Wake up! get rid of your so-called management and staff @ Lakecrest Apartments.

Wow. Thank you for this feedback. I was considering moving to this place (from Las Vegas) and have had the most DIFFICULT time getting ahold of anyone. I have been calling (no joke) since LAST August about an apartment. I applied THREE times, and they lost my paperwork ALL THREE TIMES. I was trying to be considerate and patient since I had heard they changed management ... but that was almost a year ago and still nothing. I finally had someone call me two weeks ago saying they found my application from AUGUST 2008 (my first one from a year ago) and I've called them back THREE times (returning THEIR call) and I can't get ahold of anyone. This is a true indication of their service level and commitment. What if my heater or A/C broke? Would that take a year to get a reply about? No thanks. I will put my 800-1000 p/month somewhere else. Thank you again for the feedback.
