I am the one that wrote the review for this. Thanks for the laugh about the pet rent for the roaches. You had me crying! I should have gotten $150 pet deposit back after I left but don’t think I did. The only thing I can think of is they charged me $1 pet rent per roach, not for a cluster of them. :-) I wanted to add that when you do move and start packing, make sure you seal your boxes completely with tape. Don’t leave any openings at all. I did this to prevent the little critters from getting into the boxes when I moved and succeeded for the most part. One did get in a box but thankfully he was dead (I almost had a heart attack). If they do and you seal the boxes completely, they will suffocate at least. You don’t want these monsters following you as you know how bad it gets. Good luck to you and any one else there!

Everything posted in this review is true!! I have lived here since 2005. The only thing that wasn't mentioned was that 15 minutes before mgmt decides to turn off water in the building (for so called maintenance) they stick a note on your door --like that's enough notice. Maintenance is a joke, NEVER EVER call for a maintenance request on anything broken. 1) Because they change the front office staff the way you change your socks & no one in the office ever knows that you have placed a service call 2)The front office staff can be absolutly rude.
What to do is to take pictures & email AMC LLC directly, because then you might have way knowing whats going on, however it will still take 4 weeks to fix. My lease is up in July, hopefully I can wait that long.

Right on! I've lived there longer than any of you & I can tell you that it used to be a nice, quiet, pleasant place until it sold 3 years ago this month (May 2004). That change in management absolutely sucked, plus the new owners spent thousands on remodeling the office building. Then, it sold again a year ago. In the past 3 years, there's been a steady stream of different people working in that management office. And yes, the water & electricity get shut off, with little or no notice, at least once a week. Management spends a fortune on their stupid little flyers/notices that are taped to the doors. Something like this at least every week. Gates/locks only recently repaired, though 1 key that worked on everything before now doesn't work on the gate but still works on the "security" door & mailbox room. There is no such thing as security here as the doors & gates are always propped open. That's OK when people are moving in/out, etc. but some people just leave them propped with rocks so their friends & kids can get in & out without keys. And, the laundry room lock works to get in, but you can't get out. I complained about that several months ago & it still isn't fixed. Snow removal? Ha! That's a joke. While it's true that last Dec storms were a big problem for everyone, the snow removal here pretty much consisted on clearing the front parking & sidewalk area in front of the management building so new suckers could get in to get duped into renting here. As I said, this was a really nice place, with a very responsive manager & prompt repairs before 3 years ago. After 13 years here & the last 3 absolutely miserable, I'm out of here this summer; just as soon as the place I want has the unit I want available. I would never, never, never recommend this place to anyone. Plus, some of the people who've moved in the last couple of years are looking & acting a little too creepy. STAY AWAY! P.S. If you want a big laugh, call the managment office phone after business hours & here the lady talk about the "luxurious" apartment living at the Lakes at Monaco Pointe. Barf!

Remember the 60 day notice!!!! I had to pay extra because I thought it was a 30 day notice and they changed my locks before I even finished moving out and started working on it even though I paid them and extra $500 for the extra two weeks (gave a 40 not a 60).
