We lived there for a year. The grounds are beautiful and the neighbors are great, but the staff is absolutely TERRIBLE. First, our oven didn't work, and it took a month to get them to fix it. Then, toward the end of our lease, they said we never paid a pet deposit, which we did and had certified records of. Then our shower began leaking and tiles began falling off our shower, so we could not even bathe. We told them TWICE and they never fixed it. Finally, we sent notice that we were not renewing our lease, complying with their 30 day deadline, and they are now telling us that because they can't find that letter, we are responsible for subsequent months' rent, and because we refuse to pay, they are taking us to court. DO NOT MOVE HERE, and if anyone is willing to help us, please message us.

I lived here for a while and encountered numerous problems with the office staff as you did. Accusing me of not paying my rent, utilities or bouncing a check....the list goes on. They were at fault every time but I had to fight them and once I proved THEY screwed up, they still tried to get me to pay penalties or threaten to take me to court too. It's amazing and sad, I was so scared they were going to loose my letter to vacate when I gave it to them that I stressed so much and thought I was going to get screwed too. 2 weeks before before I left, they accused me of bouncing my last rent check. I had all the proof that I had sufficient funds in my account but they said, "well, our accounting staff says you did!" They also had the wrong dollar amount on my "we are taking you to court if you don't pay" letter. Duh! I told them I wasn't budging and I have all the proof and legally don't owe then any fines or additional rent. They finally backed off. They also called me 5 days before I moved out asking me to renew my lease because they wanted me to stay. Adrial said he JUST got my letter to vacate and wants to make a deal with me to stay. Funny how he just got my letter to vacate days before I moved out when I gave them 2 months notice. Shows how stupid they are. If you have proof of paying your pet deposit, then they can't do anything. As far as the letter to vacate, I would still fight that as it's obvious this place has a bad track record of loosing things. I did all that I could to fight them on proving I was right and I always got my way so hang in there. It will take a lot but don't give up. I honestly think this place needs to be reported from current and ex tenants as things are totally getting out of control. I am no longer there but really feel for you all and honestly hope this $hithole shuts down. If you still live there, take pictures of your shower as proof and track when you have called them. Sad because my tiles in the shower were falling off too. I also had maintenance issues that were never fixed. Good luck to you and I hope things works out your way.
