You cant make everyone happy but I like it here

I lived here from 2005 through 2009, and only moved because of a new job out of state. I liked my apartment, and felt that I was treated with courtesy by the staff. I always felt that I was more than just a tenant here, and that how I felt about the place I lived truly mattered to the staff.
Some of the other reviews on this website seem completely crazy to me, and are so completely at odds with my experience here that I don't know what to say. My best response is: I'd renew my lease without any worries if I was staying in Denver, and if my younger sister was moving here I'd recommend she rent here.
I've had very few problems here, and I am very happy with my apartment. It's quiet, roomy, and has everything I need. I think the value versus price continues to be very good.
Maintenance:
1) Water leaks have affected my apartment twice. Once due to a disconnected drain hose from the apartment above me, and once due to a backed up drain from the water heater. Inconvenient, yes -- but both times they were handled quickly and professionally and I didn't feel that anyone was to blame. Actually, I felt the staff were more concerned than I was.
2) The dishwasher broke. I had to wait about 10 days, but I got a brand new dishwasher installed. Washing my dishes for a week didn't kill me...
3) I bought a new thermostat (digital) with a timer. They installed it for free within 24 hours.
Pets:
One of the best and most reasonable policies in Denver. They are one of the few that realize that a larger dog does not mean more noise! I don't own a dog, but I enjoy seeing my neighbors romp with their pets. There are a few areas where pet droppings are a little problem, but I don't think it is a significant problem.
Parking:
Parking can be an issue IF you have more than one car. Every apartment has one reserved spot, and getting a spot in your "cul de sac" after 5:30pm or so might be a problem. Since I only have one car, I can't really say. When people have come to visit me, they have been able to find parking nearby without a fuss.
Security:
I know of only two incidents in 4 years: (1) there were some auto break-ins one night a few years ago, and (2) someone tore the screen off my kitchen window one evening when I was gone -- I had left the window open but locked in the "vent" position. ---- happens... I don't think it means this is complex is crime-ridden. I have heard of no problems in the last few years.
Noise:
Sometimes I can hear my upstairs neighbors a little. I have never heard my neighbors on the side. I have never had reason to complain about noise here. It's just not an issue.
Overall:
As I said, I'm a satisfied tenant. If the next place I live is as nice and trouble-free as this one, I'll be very lucky indeed.

Out of all of the reviews on this complex there are only 4 that are good and most look like something that the management would post...None of the management cares about the people here and they will try anyway to get extra money out of you...every person that has asked me about the living conditions here I have told not to come I would never recommend my friends or family to live here even for the reference money....I don't want my friends hating me.

Wow, you must like roaches. I lived here for 10 years and left 3 years ago. The negative reviews on here are true. You must be from Management or are one of the "getto" residents that lives here.

Obviously this was written by a staff member or someone who just got released from prison because the review is completely false unless this person just got their freedom back and are living like they are in heaven...
