I was a resident at the lancelot apts for about a year. It was my familys first apt ever. It was me,my husband,and 9month old daughter. We lived in a two bed two bath. We were excited to move in. Brenda which was the previous manager was cool. I liked her alot.When i would call her for something she would make sure it was done. We had no problem for awhile. Until she was no longer going to manage the lancelot apts. Right before she was not going to be manager anymore. We had a water pipe bust with hot water. So we had called the after hour number for maintainence because the water was basicly spraying hardcore out from underneath the sink causing the kitchen to flood quickly. I had called constantly to send someone and was taking for ever for anyone to assist us with the issue. Our neighbor had came knocking on the door and she was wondering what is going on as her apt was flooding because the water was leaking from above hers.She and i was waiting and paniking so we called 911. They arrived before the maintence ever did. I had to wake my daughter and carry her out of the apartment because in the time that we waited for the maintence to arrive the apt was steaming. By the time they had got there the apt was all flooded and had gotten to most of the apt below us.
When it was all done they did not do a whole lot just took the pading from underneath the carpet broom the water of the balcony. And we were stuck with a hard cement floor with torn carpet and a nasty smell. I was so sad and mad about the situation as well as the well being of my family.
Then the new management tryed to charge us for the damage. Why you ask. well because my husband had tried to turn off the water from what our downstairs neibor told us to do. Which was nowhere near the kitchen it was a turn off for the bathroom. which had nothing to do with the kitchen.
After a week had went by we got maggets in our apt they were everywhere. We told ---- the new management lady. She said it had nothing to do with the flood but b***S***.At the time that they were tearing the carpet they left the balcony door open and there were flys everywhere. I do believe thats how it started.We left our apt for a wk. Then they agreed to help us spray after that wk of argueing with the management.I was angry and hurt that by the fact that they were wrong for what they did. That the last month of anything i did not talk to them. They were also still trying which was believed to be there fault.
So by the month we had moved out they were even more rude to us. We were not sure what day we had to be out we needed two extra days to get all of our stuff out. ---- told us we had to be out on the end of the month which no one told for our one year lease is up. So we hurried up at everything or we would have to pay next months rent which was alot. But anyways we got out of there they made us pay 100 extra for the damage.Because they wanted i believe 2,000 for the whole damage but they made a deal with us whatever that means. So no bother from them ever again.
As for me i will be careful on what i choose in the future.
I would not recomend the Lancelot or carmel partners for anyone. For they have faulty pipes cheap material,horrible maintence,and scamers.Who try to rip anyone off.

I know for a fact ---- ---------in an amazing manager for any company she works for. She is a very dedicated woman and very sensitive to ones needs. Remember there are always to sides to any ones word also when theres monies involved. As for ---- its worth just living at these apts for the simple fact she is the manager.
