I think that with any property you live in their will be pros and cons. I think the pros outweigh the cons. With that said:

Pros: Very good neighborhood, and not much crime. For the most part the staff is very attentive and takes care of problems quickly. The grounds keeping staff are extremely nice, and if they had more people like that in their actual leasing office, it would be even better! The washing machines are pretty great, and usually there are plenty for everyone to use. Great location, everything is really close, and your about 10 min away from down town which is great incase you need to take a taxi or commute to work, play etc. Oh and I absolutely loved the Russian grandmas that live their!

Cons: If you live on the first floor it is extremely noisy. Which is also understandable on one hand, maintenance is in and out of the building, children are crying next to the entrance, it can get quite annoying, but again it s also understandable being on the first floor and all. I was also warned about the noise on the first floor before I moved in. The top floors are fabulous! They have tons of space, and it is very quiet up their. The halls always smell like food. Parking (if you live in the back of the building) is really annoying, because if you come home late it is packed, and difficult to park in depending which way you drove in. The water gets turned off a lot, at times it s very week. The AC gets turned on only if the temps outside are in the high 80s, so at times your baking in your apt. After summer starts full blast they let you control your own AC. AC was broken for about a month though, hopefully that doesn t happen again. Some office staff are nicer than others. Brenda and Gena were a pleasure to work with, however the rest were really unpleasant.

All in all I would recommend carmel properties to most people. Lancelot is my favorite property. It s also a great starter property for anyone just moving out of their parents home.
