Yes, the SWAT team really did evacuate a building and block off half of the complex. I don't know where the people that are giving good comments lived before, but my experience was ever so horrible. I truly feel bad for the office staff and maintenance guys who try their best but management and AIMCO don't give them money or respect. I had management make rude comments to me and to another person as I was walking away... what I was asking for was a little piece of plastic to put my shower curtain up so I could take a shower. The office manager lied to me and said that she didn't have a key to the maintenace shop- what manager doesn't have a key to everywhere in the complex' I will not rent from AIMCO again because of the horrible experience I had and hope that the staff that is nice finds jobs at better places. My porch railing as well as my friend's were rotting and paint could not cover it. I was without a/c for 2 months with little sympathy and rude comments from the office manager. There is no grass, unless you count what is sold by tenants and the ponds were never full or clean. Hot tub' I never saw one, although I did see where one should have been. Clean pool' Hardly! It was the dirtiest pool I have ever been in! I was lucky to have an apartment with towel bars (although the one I had was bent) and without holes in the wall.
