I've lived here since 2005 and I have no serious complaints about this place. Yes, you hear noise, but it's nothing overwhelming. The front part of the complex is located on Hampden Ave, so for those that complain of ambulances, etc that drive by and how noisy it can be; I don't understand...you chose to live next to a busy road' What do you except' Live on the back side of the complex, it's much quieter. The staff are friendly and helpful. The maintenance guys fix problems within 24 hours and I see them working a lot to kept the grounds clean. Sometimes apartments and cars get broken into, but that's common everywhere. That's why there's renters and car insurance. You can't except the world of an apartment complex. If you do, you haven't lived in as many as I have. The Lodge (now called Hampden Heights) is good for the price you pay. They've also been fixing it up this last year, so it has a little more to offer than when I first arrived.
