Really. One afternoon I was sleeping in the bedroom and they came in the living room to fix something. It scared the Sht out of me! True, there was a work order for a repair, but they did NOT knock or call first. When I complained about it, they gave me a month's free rent. Also, they sent me a nasty letter from their lawyer who stated they could come in any time they wanted since it was a rental. My rent was $1250 at the time and they did give me one month free since I complained, so they obviously realized they did something wrong.

A second incident completely unrelated to the above incident - the people below me had a problem with their furnace. The maintenance guy didn't quite know how to fix the furnace, so he came up one flight of stairs to check mine out. (I was told the thinking was that since mine was working and it was the same, he wanted to see what it looked like). The problem was, he turned my furnace off and didn't turn it back on! I was out of town for three days and came home to a freezing apartment. The people in the office didn't admit this happened. I only found this out by speaking to the maintenance man. He told me himself he had looked at my furnace and then forgot to turn it back on! What a dummy, but a true story.

Two very bad experiences. The women in the office only care about leasing. They don't care about customer service or making tenants happy.

Run, don't walk away from these apartments!

omg i am so sorry for you! that is horrible. that repair man is lucky he didn't get hurt by you thinking it was an intruder! at least you got a month free.
