harsh management
From: partiallyhappyDate posted: 3/26/2009
Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2009
After moving out due to layoff, the property manager Jan laughed over the phone when I explained that I had no other choice. They rented the unit 30 days later. I left the apartment cleaner than when I moved in, but they kept my deposit and filed collection for the one month gap in the leases. The on-site staff is very nice; but the property management is harsh and uncaring. During the 6 years I lived there: my SUV was broken-into twice, regular sex-workers active in the above ground parking and street, on-site staff turns over regularly, lighting around building is spotty and often inoperable, expect frequent water shut offs and plumbing issues in the building, regular and unexplained false fire alarms, unexpected elevator interruptions occur often. This is the site of Denver's infamous "Radium Hill", see EPA cleanup data for this historic industrial property.
