Manhattan

 

I've lived at the Manhattan for almost a year now and it went from okay to just plain horrible.

The staff doesn't care about us, and the rent is WAY too high for the crap you get.

The paint job is so bad if you just touch your finger to the wall, you've left a mark on the 'flat' paint, and the carpet is cheap.

The elevators are always broken or slow and someone's dog has peed in it.

The parking is horrible and Denver comes at 5am and tickets cars outside.

Every Friday/Saturday/Sunday mornings you can bet on puke being outside the front door or around the corner.

Everyone comes back from Lodo about 3am, sometimes there's fighting.

Their utilities are billed as a group, so you're charged on the square footage of the apartment, not your usage.

The workout room is too packed to do anything, treadmills and weights are always being used.

It seems someone's car is always being broken into.

Our roommate had his bike stolen in the garage where only residences can enter.

In the summer, they over water the lawn so it's a big soggy waste land with smelly dog crap (no one picks up their dogs poop, beware of walking in the grass).

There are some good things about the Manhattan: the location to downtown, Lodo, 16th St.

Mall, Commons Park, Platte River area, I-25.

You have to drive to get to a grocery store, beer store, or movie store.

I would never recommend the Manhattan to anyone I know.
