Manhattan

The staff is nice, the building is clean and the location is perfect. Walking distance to grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants and hiking trails via Platte St. to the West and LODO/16th st mall to the East. I have an entrance direct to the street so can't really comment on elevators or hallways. The maintenance staff is awesome and have quickly fixed the few issues I had.
I go to the gym early in the morning so there is plenty of free equipment. It does get crowded at popular times but what gym doesn't (before moving here I paid $100 a month and still waited for treadmills)
Trains at the foot of the building can be noisy at times but its definatly minimal considering you live in a major city. And being across the pedestrian bridge from downtown offers great privacy and is some additional peace. (if you rent an apartment near trains and then complain that you hear them, well, you need your head examined)
If they don't raise my rent too much at the end of my year then I have no complaints at all, the building is awesome! If they do, I'll certainly post it here and say exactly how much...
