DON'T LIVE ON THE CITY SIDE

The Manhattan is a great building in a good location within walking distance to downtown. The gym has decent equipment with 2 flat screen TV's. The sundeck on the 4th floor is huge and the pool, hot tub, and grill are nice as well. There is little to no noise between apartments. HOWEVER, if you live on the side of the building facing the city, the train WILL disturb you. The windows and doors were poorly built and are not sound proof at all. I've never had a problem sleeping through anything - until I lived here. It has been almost a year and I am still woken up in the night, and the worst, as early as 5AM on the weekend! When the train changes tracks or cars start to bump into each other, the building actually SHAKES - and I'm on the top floor! My friends who have been over for the first time have actually thought there was an explosion outside it's so awful. That said, I've heard you can't hear the train as much on the other side of the building. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH
