I moved into The Manhattan 8 months ago and thought the rent was high, but really loved the space.
After a few months, I lost my job due to the economy and the management has refused to help me in any way.
They keep saying this is a first for them, well, this is also a first for me.
I would think that they would rather keep their tenants, but apparently, they don't care.
What makes it even worse is that they are now offering the same exact apartment for $250 less.
When I went down to inquire about this, the Property Manager was rude, unhelpful and said there were no more apartments at that price.
Then why is it still listed on the website' FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! I would stay away from this place only because the management is terrible.

Do you expect to be let out of the legally binding lease that you signed when you moved in? While I'm very sorry the staff was unfriendly my guess is that you just wanted out of your lease due to the hardship you were encountering and they wouldn't allow it without a fee. It sucks, but you agreed when you signed your lease!
