i just moved into mezzo, so I don't have alot of living there, and the floor i'm on is all done as far as remodeling goes so evrything is pretty nice...new carpet, paint, everything.
Mimi, the woman you'll talk to if you want to move in, certainly does blow things out of porportion a bit, though. She gave me the impression that the building has free wireless, which wasn't true...they are just contemplating getting it. she also said that they had a deal with the gym across the street, which they don't. So take what she says with a grain of salt and ask her alot of questions...really, just tell her not to bulls**t you, she's a nice lady, but I think she lied a little bit to get me moved in.
My bath takes forever to drain, I can see how some people have had plumbing problems, also, in the decorating, i can see some problems with attention to detail, like they are kind of doing a half-assed job...but it's a reasonably priced apartment home, what does one expect' We're not paying luxury prices here...the rent is really reasonable for the location.
I love the neighborhood, it's close to everything and relatively safe. Parking is either hard to find or expensive, though, be ready to search for a good spot if you don't pay for the garage. But if you don't drive much you can get a city parking permit and then leave your car for as long as you want.

The building isn't that loud, not as bad as I would've thought for one with so many people. the elevators are slow but that's not a huge deal. There is a great veranda on the top floor where it's nice to go up and sit outside to smoke/drink/read. Also they do have a minimal exercise room...nothing fantastic but atleast it's there. As well as a TV room with some furniture. They need more washing machines.
I like it though...give it a chance if you're contemplating it, but look other places too. It's a renters market out there folks.
