I have lived at Monaco Square apartments for 3 1/2 years and have pretty much seen it all. Up until last year I could agree with some of the posts, however, since the new owner Dennis Grimes has taken over, the property and problems have improved drastically - AND I AM A TENANT! Since then I feel the look of the property has improved greatly and the exterior paint and renovations have made the place more desireable. The roof is new and in my opinion looks great. Any apartment complex owner that replaces the roof and makes the repairs and renovations to to the property that Dennis has made is OK in my book. The apartment interiors are being remolded and updated and look great. I am buying a condo this month so I will be moving, but Dennis said he would remodel my place if I were staying (this is usually done when tenants move out for new rentals). The loud obnoxious people and trouble makers have moved on whether by choice or at managements request... which is a good thing in my book. There are rules set forth at the property now which restrict any public neucences, intoxication, destruction to the property and pool, and loud kids (who have a nightly cufew). The maintinence is now staffed with knowledgable and english speaking persons and are quick to respond to requests. The grounds are also being maintained on a regular basis by someone who seems to care. I have always gotten along with management in the past and have had no problems with current management. Prior to last year the owners were out of state and seemed to care less what was going on here. It's nice to have the owner actually be on site 6 days a week. Over all things keep improving. I would recommend this as a good place to live for a reasonable price.

This person forgot to mention the bed bug problem. The whole place is infested for 6 months, and the property management has done little to solve the problem. I can't wait for my lease to be up

Wow....you have nothing better to do then say bad things about Monaco Square Apts...makes me wonder??????????? anyways there are alot of happy residents here along with myself! Managment and the owner do everything they can for the residents but SOME PEOPLE are JUST NEVER HAPPY.
