We moved into this apartment with a friends recommendations and it was available soon. It was a mistake. We moved in her with a 1 week old child. Reason we will not be renewing our lease.
1. Current advertised price is $250 more than we are paying now.
2. Carpet wasn't replaced when we moved in, simply cleaned. It was flat within a week of moving.
3. They DON'T clean them before hand. I found a dog biscuit under the stove My daughter has excema. I think this is why I can't get rid of it(note unreplaced carpets).
4. Dishwasher doesn't actually clean anything (but they won't replace it because it still works).
5. Bathrooms haven't been caulked in years, extensive water damage.
6. AC can only get the apt down to 80 on hot days.
7. Toilet still hasn't been repaired (reported months ago, several times)
8. MICE!!!!! I live on the third floor and I found mice had been in my daughters cereal this morning and droppings in the cabinet.
7. Dog poo. They rarely clean it up, don't enforce their fine, and when they do pick it up they throw it in the dumpster by our window.

I recommend anyone considering peppercorn to keep looking.
